Office Administrator – Trampoline Creative Inc – Halifax City

Trampoline are looking for an Office Administrator to ensure everything in the office is running smoothly and assist us in putting our best face on for the world.

In addition, they will provide accounting support to our Controller and ensure our staff have everything they need to function effectively.

Reporting to our Controller, responsibilities include:

First greeting/reception area
Greet clients
Work with our staff to prepare a list of clients/visitors for each day
Phone management – directing calls, taking messages
Office coordination
Ensure the office and kitchen area is clean and tidy
Manage and order office supplies
Meeting management – book and prepare rooms for meetings
Calendar management
Coordinate with suppliers as and when necessary (e.g. office cleaners, phone maintenance)
Pick up groceries, supplies as required (driver’s license required)
Accounting assistance
Posting of general ledger items
Support in managing payables
Pulling financial reports as requested
Filing, storage management, general organization
Assistance to Director of Operations and Controller as directed

Requirements for this role:

Experience working as an administrator in a dynamic and sometimes fast-paced office environment
Holds a Diploma and/or have experience in bookkeeping/accounting
Experience with Excel is essential, and any experience with QuickBooks would be a plus
Personable, strong organizational skills, and a high attention to detail
